Job Description:
- To exercise general control over all activities in store department
- To ensure safekeeping both as to quality and quantity of materials
- to maintain proper records
- To initiate purchase requisition for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items
- To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by receiving department and to arrange for storage in appropriate places
- To checkbook balances with actual physical stock at frequent intervals
- To issue materials only in required quantity against authorized requisition notes/material list
